Workshops Personal Growth
Within Knowmads business school, and for other groups of young starters on the labor market, I gave various workshops focused on self-discovery, courage development, collaboration and more.
These include questions such as: What is your gift? How does your gift fit in our changing society? What Who is waiting for that? And how do you bring that to the fore?
This one was a special variant. Make money with your weaknesses. (also: What is your Value?) In this workshop you examine your self-image about your weaknesses and which qualities are hidden in them. Very suitable for students and people with insufficient self-knowledge or too much self-doubt.
Everything you should have had in school but never learned there. The title says it all, some things are not covered enough in regular education. This can be a one-off lecture (such as for sorority), but also as, as with Knowmads, a long series of lessons for students and young professionals (then it was called "You're a Movement"). Here they learn failure, assertiveness, living without regrets, magic of life, naming their own qualities, singing your heart out and other workshops.

What have I learned myself from all that variety?
You will see many different workshops here. I am an enthusiastic polymath. And the diversity has clear advantages:
- I remain enthusiastic about it. Every time I ask about something I haven't done for a while, I think: wow I can do this again. That makes me happy.
- It keeps me sharp. I always start a little unsure. My intuition always comes up with essential insights. This creates the atmosphere that I am discovering together with the participants. Wonderful.
- I can see many connections. Having been active in many fields and professions, I have always prepared anecdotes and metaphors with insights from other fields, which are new to the people I work with.
Very diverse Open Workshops
I have experimented a lot with open workshops. The following can be ordered on request:
The Way of the Fool. What is the power of the fool? How can a free role contribute attuned to a whole? This workshop makes people more creative, less stressed and more empathetic towards others.
Guru Battle. In this workshop we play a crazy battle, everyone can be a guru, but who can stay on the throne the longest? In the meantime we investigate together: Where in ourselves do we find the place from which our deep wisdom comes? How can we learn to speak from there?
Express Your Voice. A singer/song writer workshop that helps you write and sing your own song. The emphasis is on singing in the way that suits you the most. In collaboration with Coco Joans.
Swarm leadership. How can we work together without leaders? How can we bring about change bottom-up? What can we learn from bees and ants, among other things? This workshop was given to energy transition managers in the Netherlands and to the Institute for Democratic Education in Israel.
Storytelling (aka Breakthrough by Metaphor) How do you become a good storyteller? And when you tell stories or make up fairy tales, what message do you give to yourself and others? How do you defeat your inner dragon?

We will be offering a week on this topic soon.
Each of the following topics will be offered as experiential exercises near and in nature.
1. MYSTERY, Unlocking Inner Wisdom through finding your inner guru.
2. PLAY, The Way of the Fool, action through play, let’s play ourselves to aliveness and joy. Don’t take yourself so fucking seriously.
3. RITUAL, Nature Quest. Opening up to what wants to be expressed through us. Discover how Rites of passage can help us embrace next level roles for our lives.
4. NATURE WISDOM, Awaken Your Senses and Aliveness and discover how to have a deeper dialogue with nature.
5. ART & EXPRESSION, Theatre & Singing to express ourselves into the world. Just because we can.
6. STORYTELLING, Slaying Inner Dragons through metaphors and deep listening.
7. MENTAL CLARITY, Teaching Stories & Philosophy. How to Use your head and thoughts wisely
8. SELF ACCEPTANCE, Find ways to make your gifts within your 'weaknesses' bloom
9. CONNECTEDNESS experiencing sensing and Being sensorial connected naturally, spiritually, dynamically, energetically, relationally - the edginess of the thin dance between me and we
10. SWARM LEADERSHIP- leading by practicing together the following of the mysteries and becoming a conscious crew member for Spaceship Planet Earth.
